Can I just say, I *really* like how you did that? It's got just the right amount of wonder on Emerson's face, it's not rushing things, and it reads really well. Plus I like that it's completely from Emerson's POV (with little hints of Rohan).

I am entranced! You girl, write some of the sweetest romance out there. I popped by for a little fanfic but this is ever so much better. Thanks for writing. I can't wait for more. <3

weeeee!!!! You just made my little heart burst! <3 It's so exciting just get to ANY reviews these days, but to get one from someone I know, and someone who used to read my fanfics ... *major wibble* <3333

I am finding that ppl don't really read/review original fiction >.< It's been rough, emotionally speaking, moving on with this story. I get 4-5 reviews tops for each chapter, and that's from posting it at three different websites. It's disheartening!! So diff. from what the RenBya fics used to draw in.

But getting a review from YOU just made my day! my month! my year! hehehe :P *hugs* thanks for reading!

Your are certainly not the 1st writer to bemoan how original work doesn't get read. :( I wouldn't have read this if I didn't know your writing from fanfic. How would I have known to read it? There is SO much crap out there. You can't trust the reviews! I just read the gawd awfullest story because if it rave reviews - unbelievable characters, glaring inconsistencies.

Here is what I like about your writing. You create interesting, believable worlds. You give us enough detail to keep us grounded without swamping us. Your characters are believable within that world. Your stories are fun! But there is also a special quality to your writing - a light airiness (maybe clarity is a good word) that makes me feel good while I read.

So I will be eagerly checking for updates. Please don't give up. So many unanswered questions...

Okay it took me awhile to recover from your wondrous comment before I could get my thoughts together to reply *lol* XD

You're right. There IS a lot of crap out there D: Trying to make my stuff more visible than the rest of the cyber slush pile has been hard. Even harder is knowing whether my fiction is being ignored because it's just not visible enough ... or b/c it's just not good enough.

I'm using online reaction to what basically amounts to a hastily penned rough draft of a story to gauge whether or not I have a chance at writing professionally.

Anyway ... thanks again for your positive comments. I can't read that second paragraph too much or else my head will explode! XD
